Hi, I am your photographer.

My name is Katie, and I will be the photographer you love, know and trust. My story starts like any other's does, where I have always had a love for the arts. I was a ballet dancer, trained for a total of 20 years and loved every moment in the studio and on stage. Ballet was my passion, my love and my whole world. Then I found a whole new and different love- my husband. And with that love we built a beautiful family, but something was missing- that fire, that passion, that desire to be ME.

I have always admired photography, viewing the world as others see it. I love going to art shows and exhibits, and even watching old tapes of Bob Ross and his pure talent and love for painting. If it wasn't for my father-in-law handing me a practically brand-new Nikon D5200 that was sitting around collecting dust, I wouldn't be where I am today. I owe a lot of this to him. Everything I have done and learned over the past few years has practically been on my own, and I have invested in myself and my new found passion- photography.

I believe giving back to family, friends and the community will exude positive vibes and good karma to not only myself but also my clients. I believe every couple and family are unique, and capturing milestones are so important for carrying on YOUR legacy. As your photographer, you are not only investing and trusting in me, you are investing in documenting your journey. These photographs will tell your story, because no story is ever the same.
